OTTM…. Granddaughter came home from Addenbrooks yesterday. Has to go back on Thursday for more tests and physio. Seems the drugs do work after all.
Dog-snoot-pimple is still growing. If the penicillin doesn’t knock it back then it’s being cut out.

Just got a new job (same place diff department).
Two pay grades higher. Decided to take it as current department has been having me do the same job the new one is but only decided to change my grade when they heard I went for an interview.

You sure you're not pregnant? That would be an interesting turn up for the books. There is a condition that some men / biologically male people have - Persistent Müllerian Duct Syndrome. They think they’re fully masculated then it turns out they have a uterus. And pregnancy is maybe possible? I’m pretty sure I don’t have this. Dry heaving was always part of my anxiety but could it be acid reflux? |

It's more a proper scary film than the RE series.

There are emo 14 year-old twin sisters.
I'm unconvinced by this.
Also no Milla Jovovich.
Again this us unconvincing.
I've only managed one episode. Enjoyable, though I fear it is a bit Felice's version of RE. Lots of emotions, relatively little people being torn apart by zombies and zombie dogs.
There js a risk I might not watch all 8 episodes today.

Afternoon all!
It was the boy’s birthday party with his friends this morning. Held at a place called Funplex, with all sorts of activities for children.
They even ate some of the food we paid for, which was a plus - I must say that the sausage rolls were exquisite.
Filmblog: last night, we started watching The Lost Boys. 20 mins in, BAM! Power cut. It was only a blip, but knocked THE INTERNET out for an hour.
So the PM and I played Ludo. And then a game of cards.

I'm very excited because at 6 pm today there's the premiere of a YouTube video that's the result of my little Eurovision project with Andrew in the role of the innocent American. This will be the first time I'll be watching it. I've already been told that it's 70 minutes long. Seventy. Minutes.
I think he might have had a bit too much fun.
(Followed by more Trails in the Sky the third at 8 pm. I hope I have recovered by then.)

Is Welcome to Racoon City the fairly recent one that looks (from the trailers at least) to actually resemble the plot of the early games? Yes. It is basically RE +RE2. The Leon character is sort of comic relief. A bit odd. He's inexperienced in the game, not incompetent. I did like Wesker in the film version. He seemed more plausible than the Capcom version where he ends up as a super soldier/ scientist/ double agent. It's not obvious how he found the time to run Umbrella, S.T.A.R.S. and betray everyone. A busy schedule. In Welcome To Raccoon City he is an opportunist rather than a multi-talented evil genius with a penchant for underground labs. I enjoyed it. I am not claiming it is a great film. It is generally quite tense and has some decent jump scares. |
