My presence is likely to be greatly diminished this week as there has been yet another change of plans. My IT guy is holding me to the original agreement so I am going to have to limp along with my slow old backup PC.
I am also damned busy with medical matters which is proving ridiculously time-consuming. I have at least got a telephone consultation booked with my doctor. It's taken 2 weeks to get this. If you aren't one of the lucky ones and get through to the surgery by 8.02 a.m. all the appointments have gone. And I also have to go through the monthly fight to get my repeat prescription ordered and delivered in the correct quantities - a process that took 4 weeks last time. As for "We haven't got any podiatrists for you" podiatry...

I was just not sure a slightly grumpy discussion of a 50+ year old TV programme was the way forward.

Constantly having to fight to get anything done correctly must be very wearing. I'm not sure how you put up with it while remaining mostly good humoured. |

Chumbles I just saw 'blazed the way to being seen as sassy' and thought 'Do you blaze a way to being seen as sassy?' Blaze a way suggest that it's an ideal. I mean Nichelle Nichols definitely blazed a way for a positive ... representation of black women in television. It was just the word 'sassy', that's all. I started to try and write what I was thinking. But my thoughts were confused so I just posted a link to an article about it instead. I did go to bed and think 'Fucking Hell. Chumbles is going to be on to me about that tomorrow'. But ... this is life ... Hopefully we can put this behind us ...

I have mostly recovered my energy, just in time for my second week of childcare.
