Chumbles lazybones I thought about dumping the dictionary terminology of the word sassy onto you but changed my mind as I think this is your journey to work out and not for me to say, that and Chumbles being library related means he should already know all the versions of the word. #sassyforlifekane

⬛⬛🟨⬛🟩 ⬛⬛⬛🟨🟩 🟨⬛⬛⬛🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
morning.
PMs birthday today. Partied yesterday with kids and grandkids. Converted the garage into a cinema so could set up projector and sound system to watch the match. Big success, plus there was no way I was having wet sugared-up kids charging around the house all day. Think they will be expecting to come round at every sporting event now.
lots of leftover food….. might have to get creative with some recipes to avoid wasting it.
what can I do with a pot of chicken madras…. Pasta…. Pineapple… watermelon… salad… scotch eggs, and about 20 bread rolls?
Yeah I know. Bin/Steak…

Ganes: Some Fortnite last night with Sheeps. I heroically won one game, while Sheeps spent a good 5 minutes considering the nature of mortality.
OTTM: not really.
Lunch: chicken Madras, watermelon, pineapple and pasta salad rolls, with a few slices of scotch eggs added to bulk them out.

Pasta…. Pineapple… watermelon… salad… scotch eggs, and about 20 bread rolls? Yeah I know. Bin/Steak… Put a tray of boiling water at the bottom of the oven (with the oven on), and put the bread rolls in there above it to ... 'freshen them up' Then put the salad into the rolls for ... salad sandwiches? Then put a Scotch Egg beside each sandwich, to make that sandwich a meal. Do the Jamie Oliver vodka into watermelon thing. Unless it’s already sliced, in which case eat it as palette cleanser between the sandwiches and the Scotch Eggs. Whatever you decide to drink have the wedges of the pineapple on the side of the glass to add a touch of sophistication, and a treat to eat at the end.

Lunch 2: Cotes du Rhone with pineapple. I do not like and subscribe for more. Disgusting. 4 stars.

Unless I’m much mistaken, that is a 1971 hemi ‘Cuda.
A car for which the word ‘subtle’ was rarely applied.

Evening all!
Games - smashed Narwa the thunder snake. EZ. Also played some Monster Hunter.
TV - I've seriously thought about starting to watch the new series of Westworld. It's definitely on the cards. Latent.

Looks like Cove Rangers will be a division higher than Aberdeen next season. I wonder bowRollinv will like supporting Aberdeen's second club.

I went to cook some brown rice at lunch. You know in ‘Aliens’ there are occasional moments during which a character might encounter a gummy residue, and this usually precedes some unpleasantness, for everyone concerned? Well … I emptied the rice into the pan, then noticed a bit of rice still hanging in the pack, by a gummy residue. I peeked into the pan and, sure enough, there was a moth larva crawling up to the surface. Then another ...
I jettisoned the rice.
Maybe the rice was at the heart of the problem. I hope so …

Cove R*****s is the correct name, if you don't mind.
I've been away cycling up and down hills for the last 5 days. Nearly 300 miles in total. This is the kind of thing that people in the Guardian say should make you feel amazing. They are fucking liars, let me tell you.
No games, no telly.

Lunch
I had some roasted vegetables from yesterday, with tahini dressing. It was nice. The rice was going to be for the pm, who arrived back from Paris yesterday, ransacked by food poisoning after eating a steak tartare.
Foreign muck.

Ooof. I wouldn't under-react if I were you Lazy. I'd go full on checking every cupboard in which you store food, cleaning the cupboards out, and checking through all the food in the cupboards as thoroughly as possible.
Had the little buggers once in a bag of some dried food bought from a French market.* They got in lots of different foodstuffs, including things that appeared to be sealed plastic packets.
*No, I can't possibly be certain that was the source of the plague, but it was definitely affected, and it came from France, so it seems improbable that it was anything else.

Much more hardcore than that. Those guys don't even have the fitness to start each day with a massive hangover.

Ah man. It's just the one cupboard really, and that has mainly tins in. I don't think there's much open in there now. Maybe a check and clean would be in order .....
