Colleagues laptop gone back to HP as hardware fault. Our IT had "never seen the error message before" with the VPN. The same cunting error I screenshotted and sent them about 3 weeks ago. AAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

That is basic.
I would love to see Tuffers taken out by a hypersonic missile. I am indifferent as to whether it is a Chinese or Russian missile, or a 'friendly' missile captured by hackers and diverted from taking out Al Qaeda leaders.

Xi seems to want the reunification of China during his leadership The good news is that he abolished limits to his power so he could plausibly be in office for the next 15 years. The bad news is that almost certainly means a significant attempt to (re)take Taiwan within the next 15 years. In effect they only need to change one word. Just change Republic of China (ROC)* to People's Republic Of China (PRC). That way everyone can go home happy. If I were the Taiwanese government I'd look to negotiate a one nation two governments agreement like Hong Kong has. Because that has worked out pretty well. Though I would consider asking the USA rather than the UK to guarantee it. *Republic of China is the official name of Chinese Taipei (or Taiwan if you aren't a Chinese Communist) |
