Just watched Ep 1 of "Sandman", pretty damn good, changes to streamline the story, a few gender/race swaps nothing jarring if you've read the comics. 4* I have also just watched ep1. I agree. It was a lot better than I was expecting. I'm cautiously optimistic for the rest of the series |

i watched the first two episodes of Night Sky on Bezos Prime. Great acting from Sissy Spacek and JK Simmons.
Intriguing. A slow burn. 4 stars.

I just watched the first four and a half decades or so of my life. Slow burning, a bit shit, bad acting, unsympathetic main character, plot is a bit wandering and all over the place, and the dialogue is mostly awful.
4*, I like and subscribe for more.

It's hard to get across the impact this had... It looks pretty awful now, but the special effects on Doctor Who were not as good and more importantly it was set on a spaceship. (Although Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee were infinitely better actors!) |
