A tiger with an appetite for very mild hashish joints, the likes of which haven’t been seen since the 1990s. I had friends who went in the very early 90s. In those days you couldn't really get weed in Scotland very often - pre skunk days - and they bought hash in Amsterdam. They were ridiculed by folk back home but they made the point they smoked hash here and wanted to know what good hash was actually like. God I'd love a Joint. Never again though. Fuck smoking. |

I did get the mildest hash there was. I’ll be honest - I bought some pre-roiled joints. I was surprised the pm would have any enthusiasm for this and thought we’d have only the one. But then we got two more. Actually one of these was a generic indica mix. It was fantastic having it and not getting spun out. The next day (this morning) I was jonesing for more, but the opportunity never really arose … |

I'm a bloody good object lesson in the stupidity of smoking + lack of exercise. In spite of giving up in 2006, the damage a 50 a day habit had already done to the circulation in my legs was enough - with my continued lack of exercise - to put me at great risk. Mistakes made by various nurses fucked my arteries and veins a treat. I could grizzle on for hours about how it wasn't entirety down to me, but I long since admitted to myself that I set the stage for this wreckage. Frankly, I was like an idiot playing chicken with traffic; eventually something bad was going to happen. Still, nil desperandum... |
