As a youngling, my mums ‘liver risotto’ was the ultimate comfort food. No idea if it had parts of pig, lamb, or calf liver, and it used long grain instead of arborio rice, but it was delicious. Served with grated cheese and brown sauce. Vital ingredient was a tin of red peppers…. Not seen them for sale in years.
Looking back on things, 70s food was much like 70s fashion.

Smoked Salmon and raw salmon are excellent. Cooked salmon is horrid stuff. I appreciate smoking it is effectively cooking it but totally different texture/flavour.
I've just had to drop Far Cry 4 from normal to easy as I couldn't complete a mission. Putting it back up to normal now. This makes me a dirty casual I realise.
