I remember going to a Middle Eastern restaurant in Berlin years ago and ordering tagine, breaded product, other stuff. The waiter asked if we weren't ordering couscous. We said no.
He brought some anyway on the house as he couldn't bring himself to serve tagine without it. The chef was appalled apparently.

Spoke with a friend earlier who's been having tooth problems. She contacted the dentist a while back for antibiotics. They never got back to her. So she's been taking the dogs antibiotics. Her partner's a paramedic who checked it was ok. They are fine for either humans or dogs. Worth remembering for the future. Phone GP and you might have to wait a week, phone the vet's and you can pick up in an hour. £10.00 for a box full. Not much more expensive than an NHS prescription.

Last night I went to see a band in Brighton. I was the designated driver, so I only had one beer. Tonight I going to see a band in London. I am the designated driver, so will only have one beer.

Spoke with a friend earlier who's been having tooth problems. She contacted the dentist a while back for antibiotics. They never got back to her. So she's been taking the dogs antibiotics. That's totally reasonable, I have a knee jerk reaction to self remedies* and hope she gets sorted out as soon as possible. I have to say you "buried the lead". *Having tried them myself to no good effect. |

I am unwell - treatment at 9 didn't go well as the guy doing it was off on holiday at 11; driving down to Cornwall. Spent the day going unconscious, hurting enough to make me stare at the morphine with the kind of rabid hunger I used to have looking into an Indian restaurant at the end of the night when I'd drunk all my food money. Anyway, for something to make me laugh out loud shows it's either very funny or lack of food is making me hysterical. You can judge for yourself... and it continues... |
