Quite a few frogs in my garden, and I’ve also had to despatch an occasional mangled one. Not a pleasant job, but if possible, 2 or 3 air gun pellets to the head seems efficient.
I don’t have a cat, and luckily the dogs seem to ignore them, but the magpies seem to enjoy stabbing the poor buggers if they find them.
Not sure I could do the clingfilm and scissors.method though. Hardcore.

In a bid to cut down on wasting food I roasted a packet of tomatoes in olive oil and balsamic while I cooked a chicken yesterday. Realised lying in bed this morning I'd forgotten to take them out after I'd cooked the chicken and turned the oven off. In the food waste this morning then.

TV. Bad Sisters. Ouch.

Hardcore. I've got loads of more appropriate knives and cleavers etc, but it was pissing it down outside, and I was squeamish about using a chopping board. The clingfilm wasn't part of the Internet frog murdering instructions, more a sort of improvised bodybag to keep all of its bits in while I did the deed. I wish I'd thought to get the air pistol out tbh that would have probably felt less weird. RIP in actual pieces, Freddo |

Had a turtle at one time that I had inherited from the grand children. Took him to the vet's when he got ill but just deteriorated. Looked up ways of euthanasia but due to their ability to hibernate I couldn't suffocate it or put in the freezer for hypothermia as they might survive for months. Had to also go with the chop off the head technique in the end. Fish are much easier. Oil of cloves a container of water.
