It's a Glasgow holiday today.
But I don't get it - so the PM/Child have to gone shopping/cinema/food while I'm WFH. I understand the concept of holidays - it's just not one I receive.
Games. Last of Us. We're in the outskirts of Pittsburgh(?). Just battered the first group of hunters. Enjoying it this time now I've got over my squeamishness of clickers.
TV. Finished Trying. Kind of jumps the shark a bit in that last episode. But overall very funny & heart-warming.
Reedin. Started the Frankie Boyle book 'Meantime'

I don't think the tax cuts are an economic strategy in the way any normal person would imagine one, they just believe they are restoring the natural order of things. I listened to an interview with Kwarteng from a few years ago where he spoke admiringly of the serf-like status of Chinese factory workers and said he thought we could be more like that. They're just small-state ideologues, sleeper agents for the Institute of Economic Affairs, probably funded by the same billionnaire nutjobs in America who funded Trump, and their mission is to irreversibly turn everything into a potential market commodity as fast as possible by putting the state in crippling debt. 2 weeks in, mission accomplished.

Ganes: Horizon Forbidden West. God, I love it. It's quite like a lot of other games, I just like it more than all of those. 4 stars.
Telly: some of the NFL, some Seinfeld, then that Ghostwriter film based on that Robert Harris book. It was alright. 4 stars.
Ottm: a bit more of life's rich tapestry. 4 stars.
