It's my mum and dad's golden wedding anniversary today. They're taking 10 of us out for a pub tea later - my contribution to proceedings was to purchase some table decorations and 2x3ft gold helium balloons, which I've just had to carry half a mile back from the shop to the car park in a fucking typhoon whilst the entire population of South Manchester pointed their fingers at me, laughing. Hmmmph. Helium balloons? You monster. Don’t you know there’s a shortage? |

Rejoice! An Artisan Sausage shop has opened very close to my house! I just bought a Jalapeno sausage and it was fuckin' magic! Usually it's coffee places they open everywhere here as they pack them with Mums who are between school drop off and going to/coming from the gym. But this is a victory for modern man! Hail the sausages! Maybe mums want some hot artisanal sausage action after drop-off? |

I won't bore you with a blow by blow account of the continuing incompetency of my surgery to get my repeat medication right. The stuff I ordered 2 weeks ago, was delivered from the supplying pharmacy this evening. It's missing an essential asthma inhaler.
The delay is because they printed it instead of emailing it. So it's arrived after the surgery is closed, so it's going to be Monday before I can get it rectified and at least 3 weeks after I requested the missing inhaler that I might get it. Add to this that we have agreed the timing of all this so I don't have to limp in agony on feet still bleeding from treatment on a Friday evening to the front door. If you want to ruin your evening I can now provide photos...
