Wet out there this morning. I’ve driven for an hour in it - car in for a software update - and it was particularly bleurgh.

The plumber is here.
Faint whiff of weed - enough to show me he takes a puff - but not strong enough that he sparked up right before coming to ours. Best go hide the chews, these dope fiends are like bloodhounds.
He's changing the door over on the dishwasher and taking away the old one - so he can be smoking crack in the child's room for all I care.

I'd never heard that before. It did make me chuckle. I've never really seen much cheech & Chong tbh. Occasional clips.
The plumber showed me the rotting in the water tank in the airing cupboard. Fucks sake that could have been bad. If it had burst. Just remembered my line manager is off all week. Tremendous.

Phew! I did worry a little that they’d lend me an ICE vehicle. I haven’t driven one, nor visited a filling station for dino-juice, in over thirteen months.
*an ID.4. It’s basically the same size as my Sportage was. Controls almost exactly the same as my ID.3. The extra size does make it less nippy - definitely feel the weight more with it, though I wouldn’t say it lumbers about.

A pal from Uni days had been in the pub all afternoon in Leeds.
He came out the pub and there was a guy in a Mr Blobby outfit handing out flyers for something or other.
For a laugh he punched the head of Mr Blobby, but to his horror the foam indented and he made contact with the head of the wearer who fell over and couldn't get back up. He had to leg it down the street half cut.
