Last night Radio 5 Live Drive were asking listeners to tell the programme their favourite thing that they had ever seen on a Motorway... Mine is Birmingham in the rear view mirror... I like Brummies, but I was forever going past the Holiday Inn car par exit off the inner ring road and fighting to get back to where I could try again. |

Windy out. Still.
I did not sleep very well, courtesy of the continuous lashing of wind and rain upon the dwelling.
And then the boy woke up early. If the blind has been put up on his window as I’d suggested, then maybe he’d have slept in longer…
He went to a Halloween party yesterday early evening too, so I think the expectation was that he’d be tired from that.
TVblog: Deep Space 9.
Also started that Peaky Special Army Soldiers thing. Seems pretty good, though (as commented elsewhere), the scriptwriters don’t know that it’s “hanged” and not “hung”.
Warhermitblog: more progress made on the Terminators I’ve been painting. Will be moving onto their arms shortly.

Last night Radio 5 Live Drive were asking listeners to tell the programme their favourite thing that they had ever seen on a Motorway... Mine is Birmingham in the rear view mirror... I like Brummies, but I was forever going past the Holiday Inn car par exit off the inner ring road and fighting to get back to where I could try again. The inner ring road was designed to trap the unwary. Unlike Spaghetti junction which was designed to send them off in the wrong direction at high speed. The inner ring is no longer. Bits of it still exist, but they have different traps now. The bit by the Holiday Inn is still there, but the other roads have all changed. You'd probably be able to get exactly where you want to go immediately. |

Halloween. Only one knock at the door. Two kids from the child's year at school.
The best costume I've seen this year was my pals daughter who posted her night out on Insta. Her pal was dressed as Freddie Mercury from the "I want to break free video" - a genuine lol from me on the train this morning.
