Cd keys are usually pretty good at sorting out this sort of stuff. Get back on to them.
I'd also say try redeeming it on the Microsoft website on your laptop not on the bone itself. That's what I've been told when buying on eBay etc

Crank knows. I've tried all that, still no dice. Looks like Doom (2016) for the foreseeable.
When I initially put the code in (on the Xbox) it got 'stuck' in a loop. I believe it got eaten by the Gates monster.
