In the spirit of Christmas, I've decided that I want to give the Guardian less money each month than I do currently. They have informed me that the only way to do this is to delete my account and sign up for a new one. All those Picks, gone like tears in the rain. Both of them. Can't you just cancel the contribution and set up a new one? I used to give them £10 a month. But they kept using the yellow interruption ads which annoyed me. So i subscribed instead. £99 a year. It cost them £21 a year to stop annoying me. I would have paid the extra. But those ads were too annoying. |

I have a Membership, which is a defunct category. It's not just a contribution/donation, because I was sent a hemp bag and two books that I didn't want upon first signing up. It seems you can't just change your Membership into a Subscription, nor can they do it for you. You have to completely delete your account and open a new one.
Wtf is Viner playing at here? Taken her eye right off the ball in her bid to appeal to Gen-Z and Australians.
