I've adopted a baby orphaned elephant, it was found in a ditch. Thankfully it's being looked after in Kenya and not actually coming to live with me. Not that having it here wouldnt have been interesting but it would take up a lot of room.

I am awaiting my carers; bed bath to come. I didn't sleep continuously, but if I switch the lights on it's 2-3h getting back to sleep. Very odd dreams where I have no idea why my unconscious mind thinks I can pilot a star craft...

I think I’m going to get up soon, and make a couple of cheese, mushroom and truffle toasted sandwiches. Maybe. I might have a Jamaican Coffee as well. I think it’s called a Jamaican Coffee. Coffee with rum and cream. Though I’m fairly sure the rum is from Guyana. And the coffee is from Colombia…

Done Mary Christmas, now just got to survive a visit from the extended family and then back inside the M25 by tomorrow eve. Top banana.

The boxing day hunt just went pass my window at a canter (it might have been a trot ?) Although not keen on such things it does look very traditional. Most of the riders seemed to be attractive young woman. Or maybe my eye was drawn to those and didn't notice any others.

I don't mind the Quorn hunt as they are vegetarian. That's a tough hunt, those mushroom are sneaky buggers, they could be growing right under your feet and you would never know it. At least it's better than the ear wax mushroom hunt, very elusive creatures, and don't get me started on the nose potato! |

The water is off here. It's also off at our house as that postcode is also affected.
They apparently fixed the problem last night but it's taking a while to come back through the system. We have bottles of water from Scottish Water. But they have stupid hidden cisterns in this house so I'm haudin in a shite and avoiding coffee. Four stars.
