I've just spoken to my Mother. My brother, he of 'Bicycle vs Van' fame, bought her a Paddington Bear Annual this year for Xmas. She is 78.
I find that a bit strange.

Back in the 70s at one of the Stone Henge free festivals there was an all over body massage that consisted of a naked woman in a large sleeping bag size plastic bag. You stripped naked got covered in oil and then got in the bag with her and rolled around for a massage. But I have my standards and never tried it. But is was fun to watch. Bet they don't have that at Glastonbury. You've lived a quiet life. |

Looks like the water is still off back up at the in-laws. We all came down here for dinner/toilet. Just watched Matilda.
We're heading back up shortly. Part of the problem seems to be folk who have got their water back have brown water and are running their taps constantly to clear it. And the system can't get back up to pressure. Fuckwits.

Evening
Just back from a family outing (me, PM and both younglings), to my parents house. Also present was my brother and his new girlfriend. My dad put on a cracking buffet. Everyone behaved, booze was consumed and we all got on well and had fun. Classic doing it wrong.
Now back home. Drinking some Xmas present ale, Hobgoblin Gold, and waiting to watch MOTD.
OTTM, cold out.

I don’t know how I feel. Sad, depressed. A little confused. I enjoyed Christmas Day but today not so much.
I just … wanted some time alone. I wanted some time with the pm.
I’m still getting thoughts of my sister being trapped in the Phantom Zone, or of being arrested and led off in hand-cuffs.
