Hospital chat. I find myself in A&E, as PM is now in day 3 of gallbladder pain. There’s nothing much I can do and I feel even more useless than normal. Hopefully it won’t get as far as her needing a tv card. By all accounts, gallbladder pain is profoundly painful. I hope that they sort it soon, but I recall my then house mate having laser surgery to potshot stones and you may have to put up with a very cross-grained PM as she pisses out the grit. They'll do everything that they can to sort her, as they will want to free the bed... TV card, WRVS trolleys, decent food, sleep? My 4 weeks before Xmas was in a ward at the end of a chain of 3 was theoretically a fast turnover one, so I was regarded as a really anti-social shit for taking that long to lose the delirium / kidney infection and UTI... |
