I’ve just had a drink of iced tea instead of hot tea, because the kettle’s in storage. A cold banana instead of hot toast, because the toaster’s in storage. The big lights are on because the atmospheric mood lighting is in storage. Not good. Not comfortable. Now the duvet’s been taken off the bed. I need some sunglasses. I need a duvet to wear.

It's chucking it down here. I had to dress kid 1 in wellies and waterproof trousers for the 10 minute walk to school.
Currently arguing with Mrs Fark over summer holiday plans, I'm happy with a nice beach and hotel and paying for it all, she wants a luxury villa, pool, shops, restaurants and then a beach in walking distance. All in August.

We have a cat now! She is amazing and I love her.
Supposed to be the teenagers cat but I might go home at lunchtime and give her snacks and secretly become her favourite.
She is a grey Bengal Cat, 7 months old. Needs her jags before she can go outside and become topcat of the Gardens.
