Cheese sandwich, water and a banana. What a time to be alive. Out-of-control full frontal hedonism is what that is. It was a good effort, would of liked to have seen the banana replaced with a raw beet, but still a lunch of penance.

For lunch I had 707 calories. I actually just read some of the bank holiday board. I see someone typed the words 'Wee was right' You people. Wee is never right, that is a stone cold fact. Wise Up. I see now why you’re remaining anonymous what with your swipes at Mr Wee Baldy Cooper.

I just worked out how to use my coffee machine properly. I've only had it for 12 years. Lunch? Coffee.

I just worked out how to use my coffee machine properly. I've only had it for 12 years. Lunch? Coffee. Downing a pint of boiling water then snorting a line of M and S Fairtrade espresso powder. Not really - I've just worked out how to stop the water spraying out the sides of the thing when attaching it to the other thing. Though now I've written that, I quite fancy a line of espresso.

This is not a post for the easily confused.
Or Scubar.
Found out I can do without the 4K NAS streaming by just sticking a usb into the back of the telly. I don’t think I’ve ever had a TV with a USB before.

Don’t scare Amipal with the mention of Eurovision.
He voted leave for a reason.

I can hear people having fun outside in the sunshine. The fucking nerve. that’s just nutkins and some other goon hugging aggressively. I’ve had a TV with 4 usb inputs since about 2006. I have no idea why.

I was actually going to post this out to you, along with the fact you probably have apps to access the internet on the TV (so BBC I player etc...) and can do all this via your console too, but I don't think the actual output is 4k when does this way unless you are actually going via a 4k DVD player, 4k channel such as netflix or Sky Sports 4k or a 4k enabled video game.

Dom
Are you an Amazon prime member? I can play 4k stuff from Amazon directly through my TV.
It would work with Netflix as well but I'm not a member

There's 4K stuff on Youtube as well.
iPlayer doesn't do 4K. I think it had one Blue Planet 2 episode in 4 K but that is no longer available.
I've found that generally the difference between 2K and 4K stuff is minimal. DVDs are mostly fine and so is standard definition BBC.
Some of the other channels do look poor.

You don't see a battle. You *hear* it. Black powder blasting by the ton on all sides. Black smoke blinding you and choking you and making you vomit. Then the French come out of the smoke - not in a line, but in a column. And they march towards our thin line, kettledrums hammering like hell and a golden eagle blazing overhead. They march slowly, and it takes them a long time to reach you, and you can't see them in smoke. But you can hear the drums. They march out of the smoke, and you fire a volley. And the front rank of the column falls, and the next rank steps over them, with drums hammering, and the column smashes your line like a hammer breaking glass... and Napoleon has won another battle. But if you don't run - if you stand until you can smell the garlic, and fire volley after volley, three rounds a minute - then they slow down. They stop. And then they run away. All you've got to do is stand, and fire three rounds a minute. Now, you and I know you can fire three rounds a minute. But can you stand?

The War would have been over years before if he’d been in charge.

Napoleon influenced the shape of the modern baguette as it was suited to fit down the trousers of the soldier, thus freeing up backpack space.

Sheep.
I’m not impressed with Prime 4K - they have LOTR yet there hasn’t yet been an official 4K release - so I suppose it’s upscaled. As does most of their stuff.
Netflix 4K - there’s one or two movies, Civil War IFIRC, and of course most of their recent TV. It looks good
NowTV - has a good selection of movies, but like Amazon, it looks upscaled rather than native. I watched Dunkirk and could see some antialiasing.
However the difference when HDR or Doby Vision is available, content on iMovie for example, the difference between normal 4K and HDR is outstanding.
YouTube 4K has some great demos and clips of other 4K and also appears to have HDR, pictures of parrots have never looked so good.
I’ve had a read through the manual, and it appears that 4K is supported for certain codecs via USB.
