Sheep. I’m not impressed with Prime 4K - they have LOTR yet there hasn’t yet been an official 4K release - so I suppose it’s upscaled. As does most of their stuff. Netflix 4K - there’s one or two movies, Civil War IFIRC, and of course most of their recent TV. It looks good NowTV - has a good selection of movies, but like Amazon, it looks upscaled rather than native. I watched Dunkirk and could see some antialiasing. However the difference when HDR or Doby Vision is available, content on iMovie for example, the difference between normal 4K and HDR is outstanding. YouTube 4K has some great demos and clips of other 4K and also appears to have HDR, pictures of parrots have never looked so good. I’ve had a read through the manual, and it appears that 4K is supported for certain codecs via USB. 4k DVDs are fantastic.

Well the CGI on LOTR was only shot in 2K so that must be upscaled. It depends whether Amazon have done a cheapo job or whether New Line have done a full scale master.
I haven't actually watched that much in full 4k. Blue Planet 2, Planet Earth 2, The Last Jedi. Now the football season is over I might get round to Vikings series 5.
I don't think the difference between a Blu-Ray and a 4K Blu Ray is sufficient to justify the extra price.

I can hear people having fun outside in the sunshine. The fucking nerve. How dare they? I'm amipal. I hate fun, and the French.

How many minutes of 4K footage do you get on a DVD?

Between Napoleon running around shoving bread down his private’s trousers and Wellington encasing his soldier’s legs in puff pastry, I can’t help but think the Peninsula War could have been concluded a damned sight sooner if the generals weren’t all acting like they were on an episode of Come Dine With Me.

I thought the melting butter bit was the best, but that was before the baby.

It seems a little impractical.
EDIT: The sort of thing Theresa May would come up with to have her cake and eat it.

Work is awful on A Tuesday at the moment. Meetings most of the day. Lovely.
Watched Billions on the train home. Got the new Silicon Valley for tomorrow morning.
Came home tonight and roasted some chicken breasts so they wouldn't go to waste and baked some potatoes. Lunch tomorrow sorted. Hopefully some games shortly.

My daughters have taken my wife to that there London to see Wicked as a 60th birthday present (for yesterday).
I am watching Replicant, a crappy JCVD DTV movie on Syfy whilst drinking red wine and eating homemade kettle corn.
I guess I win this round.
Tomorrow my wife and I will be packing for a week's all inclusive holiday to Spain.

So, Trump’s gone mad. Any room in the worry marquee? Gone mad only now? The whole planet has been hanging out in the worry marqee for a while, but there's always more space. I'm afraid there's a queue for the bar and Crank has eaten all the halloumi burgers.
