Despite the lack of brandy for deglazing.
Plus a family sized portion to freeze.
Red wine for quaffing later.

I like Oshio a lot! (I’ve only been there once). It was delicious. We went to a place called Pompoko today. Also delicious. I had a food I’d never heard of before - yubamaki. A phenomenon (kiss bunched fingers). Both O’Shio and Pompoko are top eating places. Have you tried Bincho on Preston Street? That is also amazing. Woah - We haven’t! Thank you! Dinnerblog: We had a beef joint for dinner. Braised it - carrots, celery, onion, red wine, beef oxo, bay leaf, and pepper, then sitting in a covered cast-iron pot for over an hour.
Best roast I’ve had in a long time. The gravy… my god, the gravy.
