Lazy snowflake (ha!) hippy teachers.
We have about 3 inches of snow and they've closed the school and sent the younglings home.
I suppose a year off for the COLDvid PLANdemic and several strike days (2 more next week FFS!) isn't quite enough for them. The kids whose parents have to leave work and don't get paid will suffer the most. But as long as there's an increase to the measly 23% employer pension contributions it will be worth it.

Cold in today.
Anyone looking foreword to the new Resident Evil 4 demo this evening?
I'm half and half on 4. 2 and 2 if you will. On the one hand it was a blast back in the day, but those bits with the presidents daughter in the castle were awful, so I'm not sure I'd actually want to subject myself to it again. The new GFX don't really impress either, just looks like everyone has an amazingly detailed face, and everything else looks moribund.
I've half a mind to install Demon's on the PS55 again. Now that was a game.

I downloaded Destiny 2. Ten minutes in I was trying to find a waypoint and getting berated by this disembodied voice.
I would have stuck with it but I had an online training course to do.
Now on the way into work. I’m down two cups of coffee. I also need a sandwich.
Training
One session was on personal branding and networking. Pretty grim I think everyone can agree. I said this then one man said that a personal brand was what everyone said about you when you weren’t there.
Another question was ‘What’s your superpower?’
Lot of people said ‘empathy’. Hard not to think the concept’s been devalued a bit.

I use Express VPN and it usually shows me as being in Docklands so some searches give results for London. I'm many miles and many hours from London but today I noticed that Express has me logged into the Midlands. So searches will probably show results for Birmingham. That's got to be better than London hasn't it ?

If you want sexy alien sex films about sexy alien sex with humans, Under the Skin is the way to go. Sufficiently weird and commercially unsuccessful to count as arty and intelligent, not dirty. |

I think Rolling needs to lower his cultural view if Species is one of the worst films he has ever seen.
Perhaps watch The Wall based on the Pink Floyd album and starring Bob Geldof.
Or Silent Hill 2
I have other recommendations as well.
