I've reluctantly shelled out 15 quid to Viaplay to watch the Scotland game on a laggy stream on my laptop. Thankfully I can carry on watching the England matches for nothing, since their free to air status across the UK is protected by Parliament. Broken Britain.

I've been to Argos (in a Sainsbury's) to pick up a package. Then a quick run round Sainos to get a few things, mainly booze. Although I did somehow manage to go mad on the Tunnocks. A 10 (TEN) pack of teacakes and 8 pack of caramel original and an 8 pack of caramel dark. I'm out of control.

Sushi is horrendous, a sure sign your life has gone on off the rails. My new telly soundbar is awesome, nice bass and dialogue is much crisper for my old bastard hearing. What do your neighbours think of this newly-installed bass? Sushi is great, as long as it’s good. Don’t get it from Tesco, for instance. The best supermarket sushi is from Waitrose, anything else is dry. The best sushi I ever had was in a posh restaurant in Osaka. The best sushi I’ve had in Britain was at O’Shio in Brighton. |

They used to live near us when we were in Worthing, but moved up to Redditch (and subsequently Hong Kong) before returning last year - so good to catch up! TVblog: finished Cowboy Bebop. They should have given them a second series, the shits. Then DS9, where we got to meet Bashir’s parents. And finally, the latest episode of Picard, which is surprisingly still maintaining the high quality of previous instalments of this series.
