Been up near Crawley today to see some friends. They used to live near us when we were in Worthing, but moved up to Redditch (and subsequently Hong Kong) before returning last year - so good to catch up!
TVblog: finished Cowboy Bebop. They should have given them a second series, the shits. Then DS9, where we got to meet Bashir’s parents. And finally, the latest episode of Picard, which is surprisingly still maintaining the high quality of previous instalments of this series.
Sushi is horrendous, a sure sign your life has gone on off the rails.
My new telly soundbar is awesome, nice bass and dialogue is much crisper for my old bastard hearing.

Sushi is great, as long as it’s good. Don’t get it from Tesco, for instance. The best supermarket sushi is from Waitrose, anything else is dry.
The best sushi I ever had was in a posh restaurant in Osaka. The best sushi I’ve had in Britain was at O’Shio in Brighton.
The bass only really kicks in at mid-range volume and it's not too bad. The unit doesn't have a standalone amp, those are the ones for when/if I ever get a detached house.

Yes. As is my wife. Though thankfully she knows Boris is a piece of shit.
He, on the other hand, is a complete prat. He also said the NHS should charge people. I didn't realise he's a Tory member though, until he mentioned he voted for Rishi in the Truss/Sunak leadership vote.
He's also a crushing bore, likes nothing better than the sound of his own voice. Twat. Even my wife was glad when he went home, declaring him to be "hard work".
I used to read the White Dwarf battle reports and loved them despite not having a clue as to what was going on.

I watch battle reports. I may have only played 4 games of 40k in my life. But loved the lore bought loads of models....and the oldest boy seems interested.
In other news, my bluetooth keyboard has been delivered. Naturally my laptop keyboard is now behaving impeccably. Hah, take that. Scared the bastard into co-operating.
