Had a bitter argument with dad concerning rooks and crows. Large black bird in a large group some with white beak, it's a fucking rook.

That Labour ad does seem like a bit of an own goal. On the other hand, Sunak has regularly accused Starmer of exactly the same thing at PMQs. As a previous head of the CPS it's difficult to argue Starmer is faultless on the whole. It's a bloody weird ad things told. It's oddly shitty to make it so personal. It effectively legitimises every cunt trick the Tories try while Starmer is leader. It also seems completely unnecessary as Labour will almost certainly win anyway. Also unless the CPS always pushed for the harshest possible sentence for child sex offenders while Starmer was DPP it opens him up to being called a hypocrite. Plus it lacks class. Some of the defences of it I have read are pretty poor. It makes me think Starmer and the people around him lack judgment. The treatment of Corbyn has been unnecessarily vindictive. This is a second strike. (In a baseball sense, not an industrial dispute sense obviously).

Games: none. Work: lots. OTTM: pushed through a deal to buy a house today. Had to threaten to withdraw before the seller finally committed, but I got a great deal. OTTM2: New girlfriend is great, and even better she's really pushing hard to get more money out of her ex, so we can use his money to have some good times. OTTM3: Successfully cooked myself a pizza. No major problems. It was great. Felt like a winner.

Oh yeah. We watched the first episode of that sky TV 'Town called Malice' thing. The premise is fine, the story is fine. The mocknee terrible acting is woeful. Terrible scenes. The vintage Ellese couldn't even save it.

Morning chumps! I hope the Easter qbunny has laid a bountiful pile of rabbit-eggs at your dwelling.
Swimming lesson for the boy first thing. He has been informed that unless he can put his face in the water, he wonβt pass the course. Which means heβll remain in the starter-group until he becomes an adult.
Hastingsblog: we returned home late yesterday afternoon, having had a lovely time in Hastings. Weβd visited the Smugglerβs Adventure (screams of fear/terror from the boy), walked on the beach, bought some rock, and looked in a couple of museums. We shall be returning for further adventures!
Carblog: plenty of range left by the time we got home - 130 miles! So we could happily visit other attractions further afield on our next visit.
TVblog: Picard. Better than last weekβs. Iβm hoping the last few episodes wrap it up nicely, as the last couple have been a tad pedestrian - much like my face.

The child's swimming lessons had them swimming underwater really early. I was almost in the pool after her the first time I went to watch.
