Last night.
Games: Shot some necromorphs with a Javelin gun, which is great fun. They come running at you all cocky like and then they're suddenly flying backwards with a large spike sticking out of them - which impales them to a wall. Hilarious - unless you miss.
Music: Some opera, bunged a few bits on the Jukebox.
TV: Candyman, never seen it before.
Food: Chicken & chips.
Booze: Possibly.

Morning all!
Sounds like crank 'two lines' caller is set for a top easter weekend slumped in front of the PS5 with rainbow fentanyl coursing through his veins. Chez Dakyl the prevailing mood is going out to the cinema. Top, banana.
Games - FFXIV. I've been bitten by the mmorpg mosquito. Its completely mindless, run here, press number keys on the keyboard, run back, massive XP gain and level goes up. Repeat. Top? Banana.
Wangled out of working today as I was ill earlier in the week, but now have a stack of paperwork a waiting me for tomorrow and Monday.

I actually got given an Easter egg this year, I doubt I'll see much of it though what with the Pref.Mam. about.

I've still got my easter egg from 3 years ago. I don't need another one.

I've still got my easter egg from 3 years ago. I don't need another one. I hope the lamb for dinner is not three years old, either age or been sitting around that long.

My car insurance company just called me, on Easter Sunday. I may have had a Frank Doberman moment.

The pm is now now showing negative. The child is still showing negative. My suggestion of them heading to the in-laws on Tue has been poo-pood.
Having a wee lie down as eating chocolate egg shell has taken it out of me.

Today I made a pie, savoury of course. Also had an afternoon bath. And now I'm going out to have some holy pints.

Killed it. Risotto for dinner.
Bill Nighy has been sitting in for Iggy Pop on a Sunday on 6 music for a few weeks. It's been the soundtrack to my cooking dinner. He's good content.

Afternoon!
After a lunchtime Sunday roast, the family went for a two-hour walk. I, on the other hand, was much more productive - I fell asleep in the armchair.

So, it turns out 4.30pm on Easter Sunday is too late to get Easter eggs. I'll have to remember that next year

I met Iggy Pop once. Never met Bill Nighy

I say 'met'. I saw Iggy Pop, and said something clever and interesting like "alright Iggy Pop?" and he just sort of awkwardly nodded

Martin Nighy, who called his son Martin Junior.
Says it all.

I've never met any pop stars, though I was once in the same pub as Teenage Fanclub.

I once saw Peter Buck on a hilltop near Bideford. He was conducting some sort of experiment with massive speakers mounted on the back of a flatbed lorry.
We had no idea who the sunglasses-wearing man was. My brother and I had convinced our parents to drive us up there having been on annual camp with the army cadets there the previous summer.
The road up there was quite broken, and was not easily traversed in the family’s Vauxhall Astra. “How’d you get up here last time?” our dad asked. “In a Land Rover” was our reply.
We later found out that it was Peter Buck of R.E.M. thanks to Harry Gration on South Today.

I'm splitting my time between sleeping and binge-watching stuff, which pretty much amounts to the s same thing. I'm still reeling from the early morning nightmares where I underwent a radical set of 3 unsuccessful operations... I hated that lot... TV ST:S4; The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel - first six episodes The Boys S2... through 3:5 which is very likely the source of those terrible nightmares; and Death in Paradise - variable quality.

Chicken was wonderful, Delia's recipe works every time: 20 minutes per pound at GM5 then 20 minutes at GM 7 and finally 30 minutes rest.

It’s sad to say but probably the most famous pop star I’ve met is / was a member of Then Jericho that one-time Guardian Gamesblog Chatterbox ‘Big hitter’ Crispycrumb used to be friends with.
I knew a popstar called Sabrepulse (big in Japan) for a while. We didn’t have each other’s numbers. We weren’t really ‘friends’.
