Lunch: that street food omelette/pancake van showed up by the war memorial again - so another massive okonomiyaki and a can of dandelion and burdock
Both kids out and PM shopping - so a couple of hours of Horizon forbidden west and listening to Bonobo.
Hopefully out for a few frames of snooker later too

I loved Robocop on my Amstrad CPC464 (only the computer the Amiga could have been). Great game. They had an Amstrad at RMC The Cave last weekend. Clearly a more-capable machine than the Spectrum and C64.

Where you have to match the suspect by changing parts of their face, eyes, mouth etc. Unless I dreamt it all up in an LSD induced trance. Someone else has mentioned this to me as well. Can’t say I’ve ever experienced that. Maybe the Amstrad version wasn’t a port of the coin-op machine?

I'll do some digging... *cracks knuckles*

hi I spent this afternoon fixing a radio control car from my youth. I was never able to jettison this car because it was a birthday present gifted to me when I was 11. Though it wasn’t fully gifted … My dad said I had to pay him some of the money back and I couldn’t play with it until I’d done so. I mean we agreed this. We did kind of negotiate it. Anyway my dad eventually relented. Then my sister broke it. The circle is complete. Perhaps. I now need to get a new battery, and maybe a new shell. I might get it out in the park. It’s good to talk. Some friends of mine recently got into the whole “RC” scene. Bought and built and painted pricey Tamiya kits, adding premium parts. On an inaugural test drive in a car park near Shoreham Harbour, one of said mates managed to drive his newly-completed RC car between his legs. It also managed to drive straight through the only gap in the chain-link fence, and it disappeared into the murky depths…

I’ve been fixing an old radio control car I’ve got. It’s not completely fixed yet. Semi-fixed … maybe.

The front section broke some time back in 1990 / 1991. I have resolved this. The body / shell is a bit warped and cracked. I’ve done a basic repair but have not improved it. I think maybe I do want to improve it …

Lots of complaints about performance, though the stream I've been watching they haven't had terrible problems.

The performance anxiety was only for Master Race Machines I believe, not console?
{Edit} Folk on xbone as well.

Somehow my Nintendo online was turned back to auto-renew. I also never got a reminder email that they used to send out telling you that you're about to be fleeced.
Probably £31 down the drain.
Have asked for a refund but not holding my breath.

Hi
Mrs D and I decided to go for a walk along the Thames from Richmond to Twickenham, not realising the England v France Womens Six Nations was on. A record crowd of 58,498 and all of them on the streets of Twickenham as we tried to make our way home. Big mistake.

Lazybones, can you not get spare parts online? What about 3d printing a new shell?
