Ay oh! How the devil are you lot? Has Shenguin finished work yet? Just back from the Co-op - hot out. Lunchblog: some leftover mash and veg in the fridge equals bubble’n’squeak. Textbook.

Wordle 715 3/6
🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
Morning. Due to an administrative error I was still a little wrecked when I woke today.
Have cleaned the bathroom. Having a barbecue later. Might need to cut the front hedge first.
The child is now making videos with captured footage from Roblox and putting together in capcut. It's apparently what those videos with the female type-to-voice over are made in. Strangely she doesn't want to hear tales of editing videos using u-matic tapes back in the late 80s. Weird.

Last night, I watched 'People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan'
Tids review: Not too bad, Chabuddy really makes the film.
OTTDM: Got a new electro-chew man, sorted me out in 5 minutes.

hi
I watched some episodes of a documentary on ‘the Troubles’ in Northern Ireland last night. I think two or three episodes.
This morning I did some some semi-gardening. I took some bags of building junk to some bins. Then I swept up some dust, plastic and garden scrud. I also repotted an orange tree. The neighbours eventually appeared in their garden so I scuttled back inside.
I need to buy a hose.

Crank
Are your activities absolutely hush hush? How will you cope once your daughter gets a little older and starts staying up late? Or gets up for a late snack to find her dad eating private chocolates?

Crank Are your activities absolutely hash hash? Hush hush. Yes. I'm not in enough of a nick that booze and or being strange (in the eyes of a then i suppose teenager) doesn't cover it. But yes I would need to more careful. Right. This hedge won't cut itself.

Apex Legends letting you setup private matches. Cross play. Anyone? BabyFark master race v the rest of us? I might reinstall this having completed South Park TFBW for the third time. Ottm: who has a Steam Deck again - is it Tuffers? And is it good? The Steam Deck, that is, not Tuffers.

The pm would probably not be too happy about it being in the house, especially in the format of confectionery.
It is well hidden and wouldn't be stumbled upon.

Chumbles
The strike rate is 205 runs divided by 208 balls x 100. It's 98.56 runs every 100 balls. Usually in tests the strike rate is somewhere between 50 and 60 runs per 100 balls.
The Irish were taking the piss out of themselves before the game. They know full well there is a massive gap in experience and talent available to the two sides. They want to make the best of it though. In the circumstances just making England bat twice was a small victory after the position on Friday afternoon.

Chumbles - fully agree and I already understand the mechanics of run rates (although I hate UN Adjusted Score to encourage the smaller score - I'm v v short of time but I agree that Valbirnie can't exactly say we were fucked and short of getting the English to play catch with a hand grenade that's it. Potentially the Irish ARE a good side and if we take the superiority, this golden period for granted OR overplay the guys, a resurgent Australia could destroy us (probably for decades).

I made a mistake: Going out having eaten only three dates. I ended up buying snack foods and booze. Have just eaten a tray of piquillo peppers with a layered Mexican dip and tortilla chips. No enthusiasm for dinner now.
Wondering if I should buy Diablo IV. £70!
Wondering if I should have an Aperol Spritz.

Spotify now has an AI DJ. You go into the ‘Made for you’ section and there it is. A friendly robot who talks to you and plays records it thinks you might like.

The AI DJ thinks I like The Magnetic Fields. It is wrong. You need to learn what you actually like. The algorithm is trying to help you.

I just shouted at a neighbour with a hint of malevolence. Did you say ‘Get out of it’, and hold up the back of your hand?

I normally have a sandwich of some description around 6-7pm but today I had a plate of black and green olives, cherry toms and pickled gherkin with a small wedge of double Gloucester. I'm feeling very continental.
