I'm assuming garlic was a given like mozzarella and tomato sauce. If so, destry got all five right.

Ah. Shenguin's story reminds me that I've got bitching of my own to do when it comes to British pizza.
Why oh why is it so difficult in this country to get a decent Marinara/Pescatore? Why can't one get them in the supermarket or at the pizza takeaway? Why are they an afterthought on restaurant menus? Why are all these places drowning in varieties of pepperoni/"meatfeast" pizzas? I don't dislike them. But if I've got a choice I don't want them. I'm certain I'm addressing myself to the right person here. Fix that shit, okay? Thank you.

Oh, I forgot to say that since I started the quest a second time Wuunferth is no longer selling me stuff and the lights in his room keep going on and off, but it's possible that it's because it's 3am and he's got a poltergeist. Also this pizza toppings topic is making me peckish. there's a decent poltergeist quest in Makarth

If you put pineapple you must also list ham. False. Olives, extra cheese, and anything based on salt and fat are fine accompaniments to pineapple on a pizza.

I was joking, for some reason (i.e. because it's buggy) the lighting switches abruptly in Wuunferth's room. More his problem than mine.

Because our cultural approach to food tends far more to the American than to the European, alas. I can't fix it, except to recommend eating in better pizza places and avoiding chain pizza restaurants.

Morning all. Read this article/review at The Other Place. My respect for John Crace just went up a few more notches. That's not a film review, it's a self-obsessed poor-me piece of self-indulgent whimpering. How is he arrogant enough to think that trite blathering is interesting enough to publish? ham/Bacon Mushrooms Chili Cheese Self-pity Alright John Crace, calm down and leave the pizza to the experts.

I don't even think you are an expert.
Do you even own a wood burning pizza oven?

I doubt Che Adams can tan leather and sew it into a football. I am an expert at eating, not cooking, pizzas.

If only Limni were here, he'd know where you could get one of those pizzas.
Lunch: ham and mayonnaise sandwich. Because it's some posh Italian ham and covered in herbs, I have no idea if it's off or not. Tastes good though.

If only Limni were here, he'd know where you could get one of those pizzas. And not only that, he could probably give us his famous Tomato Salad recipe as a side dish. EDIT: I do him an injustice. It's his Tomato and Onion Salad recipe (I found it on Google Docs)

There's an 'artisan' pizza place near us with a wood fire oven, proper buffalo mozzarella. Really amazing pizzas.
Though not enough cheese for Mrs Crank so we usually have to go elsewhere. *Sob*
Though I've just wondered why I've never suggested just getting double cheese.

If anyone ever finds themselves killing time near Bristol Telole Meads and wants to die from pizza topping OD, I can highly recommend BocaBar. The Somerset Piquante is quite something.

Pepperoni Chilli Beef Bacon Sweetcorn Mushroom
I'm a man of simple, but meaty, tastes.
Lunch: Spinach, Tomato and Tuna Mayo w/ sweetcorn salad. 4 sausages.
Work: Bad. Just been given one days notice of a change that we were expecting a months notice for. Bastards. Time to get coding.
