Last night I watched 2 episodes of The Expanse and played half an hour of the Onslaught GE in The Division. I would have played more but matchmaking put me in a remedial team, low 250 gear score players, and it took fucking ages to get through Lexington. Normally it can be done in 6-8 minutes with a decent squad but last night's effort broke my spirit. We go again.

I too played the Division after re-installing windows on the pals laptop. Nothing as high-felootin as Wee. I instead ballsed up the the Time Square Power Relay. Not quite enough grenades kept for the last wave or a good enough shot. Had to go to bed. Will redo tonight. Shenguin Your last post yesterday made me chuckle a lot on the train. |

Morning all.
Caught up on Travelman last night, followed by the penultimate episode of Arrested Development series-4-remix.
After that, played some more Mad Max. Spent half an hour chasing a convoy where every guard was armoured, gradually wearing them down. Eventually it got into a bit of a circus, and at the end of it, Max was stood with seven burning vehicles around him.

Morning all!
Changing rooms last night with the Father-in-law which saw me the beneficiary of a new couch which is far too big for the room that it's in, but I love it.
More God of War last night, Atreus is a wee wank.
Also, some wonderful news that they are doing remasters of Yakuza 3,4 and 5.
Why is it only Tuesday?

Morning!
Last night was all about State of Decay 2. It's good. It's a buggy mess at times (had one full crash) but it improves on a lot of what made the first good fun. The survivors all actually feel like they have their uses, and annoyances. Although, I can see their lines getting old if they start repeating. Already had to take out two other survivor groups, one for stealing, the other for not giving us a discount on their weapons horde. If you can't give me a 10% discount, I'll take the 100% option, even if it means taking a couple of bullets myself.
Tonight I have my first minor dilemma. The doc and my best scavenger are always at each others throats. One has to go. Probably the scavenger, they're easier to train up.
4 *'s. Would recommend. . . if there were more Xbox/ PC users on here.

You'll no doubt all be ecstatic to hear that I successfully finished the "Blood on the Ice" quest. When I arrived at the gates of Windhelm there was already a dead body waiting for me. The guards are not bothered by this at all and are telling me that their cousin is fighting dragons while they've got boring snoring guard duty. Well, hello?! There's a murder victim lying around here??! Not important, is it? And then they've got the balls to tell me that I obviously put the wrong person behind bars!
I had a few winks in Candlehearth Hall whilst waiting for nightfall and then ambled to the next murder scene. The killer, looking shifty, was suspended behind his intended victim, and my attempts to engage him in conversation were met with the information that "this person is busy". Busy murdering, I see. The game was obviously waiting for me to have a pleasant exchange with the would-be victim (to give me a guilty conscience? Hey, it wasn't me who was jumping to conclusions) before turning her into a de-facto victim (guards standing by, chewing gum).
Anyway, after all this I took the bus to Winterhold. I've only just talked to the Jarl to find that the place has a case of "townies and gownies" worse than Oxford. I'm looking forward to the College.

Johnny Frank Garrett's Last Word - a very good horror. Made far more so when you read up on it, one of those true stories which sticks to the source material. If you wait to hear the rant during the credits it'll chill you.
Ten - good stuff, Winterhold is fun, plenty to do there.
Divinity Original Sin 2
Got into Chapter 2, good fun thus far and the respecing option you get is very useful. Wandered around thinking I was a bit tasty and then got owned by some scarecrows. Ho hum.

Anchovies are the work of the devil. I was once served a vegetarian salad with anchovies at the house of a German acquaintance who didn't understand vegetarian. No more anchovies after Brexit, that'll learn her.
A friend and I bravely ate the foul mess, and then bitched rottenly afterwards.

Oh, I forgot to say that since I started the quest a second time Wuunferth is no longer selling me stuff and the lights in his room keep going on and off, but it's possible that it's because it's 3am and he's got a poltergeist.
Also this pizza toppings topic is making me peckish.
