I had a nice day in Groningen yesterday. Went to a coffeeshop to have some … coffee. Great bunch of lads.
I mooched about for a bit. Ate a Banh Mi.
I went back to Zwolle and consumed a jazz cigarette. Then went back inside. The idea was that the cigarette would help me sleep. Not so. An odyssey of self-reflection.

Prime Day today.
I have bought a 4TB WD Black SSD for the pS5. £240 with heatsink.
Finally a more reasonable sized SSD at a reasonable price.
I'd much prefer a bigger disk, but 4 TB is the biggest that will work*
Also anything larger is extremely expensive.
* So Sony say. It's not clear if a bigger disk will work or work but be limited to 4TB. It's a bit annoying as it's a fairly simple software fix to enable larger disk sizes. which were available on PS3 and on PS4.

Also I was looking at an Xbox series X.
If Starfield reviews well I'd like it for that STALKER 2 and the next Elder Scrolls game - if that is any good or actually exists.
Also whatever Halo games I've missed I think Halo 4 or ODST was the last one I've played.
Again though I'd like it with expanded memory. I was disappointed with how expensive the XboxX memory is. £270 for 2TB. And there is no choice.
Also I'd like the console to come down in price significantly. For a second console I'd like to pay less than £200 ideally.
I think I only paid just over £100 for an Xbox 360. Admittedly that was with £50 of Tesco vouchers, but still pretty good value at the time.

Hello everyone! Yes, everyone, even the war-criminal lazybones. It’s my birthday today, so I decided to take the day off. That’s right, a day for me! Such days are normally saved for covering school holidays and boy-sickness, so this is somewhat of a rarity. After taking the boy to school, I then went and sat on the undercliff and ate an apple crown. Good start to the day. |
