I appear to have spent yesterday binge-watching the latest Icelandic volcano live-stream. Getting OCD that the moment I stop, something spectacular will happen. It’s a bit like watching England play cricket.

Hello Going to try a walk-up to the Banksy exhibition today. That and a mooch up to the West end with the PM's sis & fam. I'm off home tonight as I've work tomorrow, though the pm & child are here at the in-laws till Thursday. Where's muffrat at? His local Greggs is at least a 9.5 mile walk each way since the slightly shorter route fell in to the sea. |

My replacement Neil Young Live at The BBC DVD is on it's way.
This would be more pleasing if I hadn't received the replacement a few weeks ago.
I am not quite sure what they have done, but I will have 3 copies. One, not to play and two security copies.

It is still busy redownloading all the games. I was hoping it might finish about now, but it seems to be less than halfway through.
Once it is done I will have just short of 2TB free space left in total.

On the day yes, but I don't think pay on the gate is a thing any more, since Covid. Even at a lower league ground I went to last season, you had to pay on an app and show a QR code at the gate. Not very community minded of Utd, considering Dundee is the home of the UK cash machine industry.

I had to queue at the ticket office at Cheltenham in the heat last Summer. Paying cash at the turnstile does seem to be out of fashion.
I did hand over cash at Solihull, but only for parking. I had an e-ticket.
As I am modern this is not an issue for me. Though I did manage to delete the email with the ticket attached and had to get them to resend it.
All the EFL clubs still use paper tickets I think for away fans.
We have season ticket cards though. I miss the book of tickets where you had to rip out each voucher individually.

Ours used to have about 20 vouchers to get cup tickets. Enough for every round of both cups plus replays., I always saved mine, but I have seen people ritually rip them all out at the end of another disappointing third round FA Cup defeat. Spread them like confetti |
