Morning.
On the trains.
Decided to go in to work.
Mainly as I wish to attempt to hook up with Rollings cola bottle vendor after work.
Lovely sunny day out.
Had a massive nose bleed in the night.
I'm putting it down to my brufen regime over the last week. AFF em.
Games. Played a wee bit of Far Cry 6.
TV. More Snowfall S2 and an episode of Your Honor to get it finished.

I'm back from Staines. A 3 bedroom detached house costs £2m there. I don't think I will be moving down.
There's been virtually no rain down there either for weeks, yet up here it's rained most days in July.
In other news, I have spilled ketchup all over my nice clean jumper.

Games? The Talos Principle. I love this game. Basically, a pretentious Portal. 4 stars.
Telly? The Tour de France - another epic stage. 4 stars.
Ottm? I went to 'the footy' last night. Quite amusing - well worth the 12 minutes it took to buy the tickets online. 4 stars.

I don't even think it was Blyth Spartans as they are an English club. I am pretty certain Spartans are not a real team.

Spartans originated as an Edinburgh University former students team, but are one of those clubs with ambition to get into the SPFL since the bottom of the pyramid was opened up a couple of years ago. Dundee United hired the manager responsible for Darvel 1 - 0 Aberdeen, a man with the unfortunate surname of Goodwin, so their decline was widely predicted. His trademark tactic of getting lumbering centre halves to play endless passes inside their own box like they're Pique and Puyol c.2009 is a joy to behold. Some of the gifs have been very strong work. |

Flibbb (Alan) is a Dundee Utd fan so there was much woe about them on football WhatsApp. last season.
I thought they had recovered mid season from Jack Ross, but they took a beautiful dive at the end of the season.
Goodwin is a strong name for a football manger. Nominative determinism rather than skill, tactics or training seems a sensible way of organising things outside the SPFL premiership.

I’ve been in many meetings like this. They always used to be in person. I often imagined leaping up onto the table, taking out a shotgun, and shooting myself through the head.
The reverie has diminished in power. Now it’s just of me turning on the camera, taking out an old style six-shooter, and turning it on myself in a tired, but effective, manner...

That is one hell of a header. Top work Admin, top work. I worked until 2.30 last night, honing the spreadsheets to near perfection. Unfortunately I think my drive became corrupted overnight, and it's messed up my spreadsheets, nested if functions and sumifs all over the place. |
