it’s an all-green morning!
Woken at about 2am by an unearthly banshee wail which lasted 20 seconds or so. Proper horror movie stuff! Definitely came from inside the house.
PM and me leapt out of bed and headed to the study… flicked on the light to find a confused and bleary-eyed pup who’d just woken from some inner-wolf dream/nightmare.
mystery solved, headed back to bed only for PM to scream and point to the biggest frigging spoder I’ve seen in years. Needed a pint glass to fit all the legs in, before decanting it out the back door.
After this double blast of night-time adrenaline I was in the wide-awake club so sat up til 4 watching the volcano.
