Games. Played a bit of bf1 as it was mentioned on here this week and hadn't played in ages. I was French and played a map I hadn't been on before. I was terrible. k/d ratio was bad but did lots of supplies.
Downloaded h1z1 before I went to bed to see how it compares to Fortnite.
TV. Second episide of the Bridge and the penultimate episode of the good place 2nd series.
Nice work Destry. Is it a real bank holiday? Are folk off work on Monday?
I'm off but my work isn't closed.

I hadn’t heard of H1Z1 before, what do you make of it Crank? Is it like Fortnite where any additional items bought are purely cosmetic?

I started it downloading and went to bed.
It's more "realistic" graphics. But the premise is the same - probably more pubg than Fortnite tbh - no building.

Good morning,
Last night I watched my mates 10 year old kid play Fortnite. He got more kills in 3 games than I have the entire time I've been playing it. Prick.
Also fired up Dark Souls. Only played the first section. I went for knight class, but thinking I may have to start over as it's really slow.
Hell of an evening

My pal said he had long ago realised his 11 yr old kid was now better at games than him. By better he means quicker reflexes. He's trying to instill situation awareness and tactics as they are what's letting him down. I think he's hoping he can retire on the child's e-sport earnings!

I played a bit of BF1 story, its good.
I played a lot of Titanfall 2. I hate the wall running jet packs in COD but in this it works. Im low level but getting top of my team at times.

Bit more Skyrim last night, and a great demonstration why I don't normally fast travel: because the game has a tendency to hit you with unwelcome surprises on arrival. I did some spell-shopping with the court wizard in Whiterun and checked on the kids. Yep, they are running wild, as expected ("Horkerface" - "Skeeverbrain").
Then I fast travelled back to Saarthal, and suddenly I had my horse next to me and next thing I know is that horsey is attacking a pair of gargoyles. Defeated them whilst glugging health potions, horsey fortunately still alive, and only then realised that I was doing so badly because I still had my mage's robes on.
Today the grandchildren are visiting, hopefully by the end the house is still standing. I'm fully prepared and stocked up on ice cream.

Mrs Fark is marking exams which means I am in for a miserable weekend. At best I may be able to sneak out to watch the footer later. Also, that H1Z1 game doesn't seem to be available anywhere in xbox live.

Well I had one game of Fortnite before the baby woke up, got 4th place and for my third consecutive top 5 the guy who killed me ended up winning with a double digit kill count and insane building skills. I did manage a kill in the top 10 though. I may look into the whole scuff pad thing to see if that helps.
If I have time I will download h1z1 for the pc.

I was at least expecting a badge for turning up here today.
Like Wolfy recently I've just been alcohol IDed for the first time in a few years. I can understand it happening to Baby; after all, he's only ten. Tbh, it was probably my rad Splatoon t-shirt that made them think it was necessary. #youthfullooksboasting
Unfortunately I won't be seeing Horkerface and Skeeverbrain today after all as their dad got unwell and they had to cancel the visit. Now I've got too much ice cream.*
*Only kidding. There's no such thing.
