Our vegetable oddbox was taken again this morning. It was delivered at one. Gone by seven.
Is criminality a real problem? Maybe poverty is the problem and property is theft. On the other hand theft is theft. My Home Office pitch.

Get a cheap motion WiFi camera and have it pointed it at where the box goes.
It's the same person doing it. Or the delivery guy "delivering" and selling on.
Either way you need to know.

Got an old box they deliver in? Make sure you're up for the delivery next week and quickly swap it out for a box with a brick and a printout of how to get referred to a food bank. Or a steaming turd, your choice.
It's more likely someone being a prick rather than someone in need.

Anyway, that's probably my judgemental portion exceeded for the week. I really had to bite my tongue yesterday. We were at Wakehurst Place (dual Kew/NT), and there was a group of families who seemed continuously in the way. Early 30s, loud, obnoxious. I know each of their kids’ names, as they broadcasted them every five seconds. “Olive!” “Jacinta!” C*nt kids. Then one of the mums was happily telling them about her morning sickness, slap bang in the middle of the restaurant. THANKS FOR THAT. |
