They're resurfacing the stretch of the road outside our house over the next few nights. There have been parking suspended notices posted on parking signs and lampposts for a couple of weeks together with a local letter drop explaining what would be happening. We moved our car on Sunday.
Yet there were five or six cars still parked along our stretch of the road. They've all been picked up and taken away...
The machine they are using to strip off the old road surface makes a hell of a racket as it trundles back and forth past the house. The cats don't like it one bit.
