Morning all.
And so it begins - the grand demolition of the garden.
I already have the time lapse generating.

Knocked out some Detroit at the weekend, I think its amazing. I have a soft spot for David Cage'em ups though. Also some Dank Souls, made it to the bridge with the dragon before I got bored.
I also discovered something called Cultist Simulator which I haven't played for long but seems top banana. Looking forward to establishing the way of the wiggler 'cult'. If you buy it before thursday you get all future DLC content.

Morning all. And so it begins - the grand demolition of the garden. I already have the time lapse generating. My life partner wants to knock down our kitchen extension (built by previous owners) and put in a patio to be accessed with fancy French doors. Lots of change and upheaval and basically I am against it.

Morning all!
I think I'm still rough from Friday. On a completely unrelated note, why do people think it is necessary to take videos of people when they're drunk? Had to go and get new glasses because I lost mine on Friday.
Saturday and Sunday, I got some time alone with Final Fantasy X and I think it's clicked.

Lots of change and upheaval and basically I am against it. My partner wants to knock through a wall to extend our very small kitchen and reinstate a different wall. I'm not against it - but the phrase "load bearing wall" fills me with dread and angst. Her dad and sister are both architects and phrases such as "there's nothing to worry about if the engineer does his job properly" aren't filling me with confidence. Just remembered earlier my line manager & boss are off to a conference till Wednesday. Good stuff.

I refuse to demolish anything. Gravity and the passage of time will do all the hard work and the jaunty angle of the back wall is a useful deterrent against burglars and loiterers.
Diving, bikes, booze, barbecues and just a little smidgen of Elite. I’m knackered. The Malvens are lovely, the FoD is basically Mirkwood.

I wouldn't say a good space, there's about 10m of lawn then a raised flower bed adding a further 5m or so. We had an architect in and he along with my partner reckon it would add value to property by removing the extension and putting patio in. We would then put the kitchen in where the dining room is and have the whole area open plan. We would need builders to come in, there would be brick dust and everything. Terrifying.

Lots of change and upheaval and basically I am against it. Â I have a tried and tested condescending, passive aggressive response to these situations. Just say "you can do whatever you want, as long as you're paying for it". The trick is to nail the patronising dismissive tone, then walk away as if no further discussion is required. Works like a charm.

How can reducing the number of rooms in the house increase the value? Doesn't sound right. I'm no expert, though I did watch a fair bit of Phil and Kirsty while sobbing into my dinner back in the day.

Morning all,
Quiet in here today. Unsettling.
I had an ok weekend, 3 days of it which brightened up my mood somewhat.
Saw Deadpool and solo, the former is far better than the latter. Which I fell asleep in yesterday, due to a horrible hangover from Saturday drinking.
Going out on Saturday was a big mistake, everywhere was full of dressed up red chino wearing salesmen coming back from the rugby 7s.
Games: none really, a bit of uncharted:lost legacy, it's pretty good.

Morning!
The better half was away for much of the weekend so I game'd my little arse off. Mainly WoW, but I did take the time to finish off Moonlighter. It was a fun game but a little short for my liking (I was on hard too!). Recommended as a sale purchase, unless they add more content.
Over in Azeroth it's Darkmoon Fair time again which means lots of fishing whilst re-watching It's Always Sunny. Nearly done though, got up to PTSDee last night. Any suggestions for a decent comedy to stream?

How far through are you? Just the mention of it makes me think about playing through again. The only thing that's putting me off is the thought of getting Wakkas ult weapon . . .

Morning.
Barely managed to survive the weekend. It was just too hot and sticky and I had to slave away in a hot kitchen. It's cooled down and I'm feeling a bit better.
Bit of Skyrim last night, I'm now out of Fellglow Keep. At one point I managed to get thoroughly lost, I always forgot that I got Clairvoyance for that. With Orthon by my side the boss fight turned out to be a bit anticlimactic. Picked up Lydia, who I'd parked a bit further back in the dungeon, and as we emerged into the sunlight we were immediately firebombed by a Blood Dragon. Just typical. We were both already carrying all the loot from the dungeon, no space for dragon bones and scales. The weight restriction in this game is driving me to despair.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but actually getting a hang of the different buffs and stuff has made things easier. Also, I started watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine a few weeks back and have gone through the first 4 seasons on Netflix like it was nothing. It's hilarious though!

Morning all. And so it begins - the grand demolition of the garden. I already have the time lapse generating. Of course you do. Why didn't I think of this earlier? I bet any of us would be willing and able to drive a digger through your garage and demolish your garden in no time at all. All you had to do is ask, and we'd probably even thrown in the demolition of your garage for free.

Hi Destry,
I am forever the lurker...
Just a quick question - when I login everyone's profile pictures disappear. Do you know if there's any way to fix this please? I like to look at their faces whilst I read...

Tenthenemy - I had the same problem with carry weight in Skyrim. I activated that steed stone as soon as possible to help!

If you return there, the dragon and its loot should still be there... I know, I'll probably make another exception to my "no fast travel" rule. After all it's selfimposed. Still drives me nuts.
