Heading in to work later as the PM had to leave early to talk at a school assembly.
Fuck that.
This meant I managed to get breakfast at home. Porridge, toast etc. Unfortunately this means I'll no doubt need a MASSIVE dump on train 2.
Games. TLOU2. Being Abby. Just left the compound.
TV. Top Boy S3. Innit.
Train from Cathcart for a wee change due to timings.

Bottom line is, even if you see em' coming, you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does.
The game started badly, I was knocked off drop and my brother killed the other duo and revived me. None of what follows would have been possible without his heroics.
We then proceeded to defend a gap between two small complexes, here I could see there was at least one real player nearby from the kill feed as we killed a few bots. Then suddenly we were ambushed by this player, and he had a team mate...

After I killed that duo disaster struck, my brother was killed and flushed by a duo which sneaked up on us, I was lucky to be able to flank them and then double back to grab our car and get the hell out of there. I drove to a one storey compound and took many shots at them as they drove around and battled two other duos. Eventually like a fly that is swatted at too often they simply took cover by a hill and I finished them off with an easy shot. Not many left now...

I held my ground in the two storey and soon they were just 4 of us left, I had to leave the building and move inwards when the 4th player was killed. This left me with a duo to defeat to clinch the game. One was on a small building roof to my left, the other upstairs in a building to my right which crucially did not have windows on the East side. I heard the player to the left jump down and knowing there was a whole second long animation for him to go through, I snuck around and murdered him. Just one more to go...

Here we are then. One on one. This is when you see what you are really made off. From early on I was outnumbered, but never outgunned. Seeing where the storm was headed and the position of the windows I knew I would be in a strong position if I could survive the run to the small outhouse on the left. I bravely ran and....I made it!. Now the other guy had to jump out the building and make a similar run toward me. Or would he cower and die in the storm unable to pluck up the courage to fight the might Baby "Chuck Norris" Fark...

Work still 'quiet before the storm' so at my work desk playing SteamWorld Dig 2. It's uppermost bananas.
Lunch - had a craving for something I don't think I've eaten for at least 10 years. COTTAGE cheese. So I have a baked potato in the oven and a tub of said cheese waiting in the fridge.
OTTM, was going to put all the garden furniture away this weekend, but it seems BALMY BRITAIN HOTTER THAN BAHAMAS is incoming on Saturday. Global warming my arse.

I have a cold. And am quite busy at work.
Not much else going on … A standing order I was paying seems to have disappeared from my bank account. Along with lots of money. A cursory look suggests I spent the money but on nothing much. I can’t get my head round it.
Also I can’t set up a new standing order on my banking app. I have to call. And I have to call a man about fixing a phone - a landline phone.
It doesn’t add up to much really. I’m also annoyed at people at work.
