That Marmite spaghetti does sound good hangover food.
PMs work has a bout of Covid going about. She's feeling grotty but tested negative yesterday. Called in sick today. Her go-to food when feeling crook is 2 beef Oxo cubes dissolved in a cereal bowl of boiling water, then adding as much ripped up bread slices as the bowl will hold til the whole affair looks like some kind of brown jelly, and then slurping the whole lot down. Looks revolting but smells appetising, and provides enough salt, carbs and fluid to kick-start a jaded system.
If i can be arsed to make it, my cure-all is a dahl made with fried onions, red lentils, ginger, chilli, and garam masala. One pan of that will do me for a couple of days, and the associated flatulence creates it's own 2m exclusion zone.

I don’t really know anout hangover food. Generally so long as there is tea, fried potato and brown sauce things will be ok.

I don’t trust this story. The chap’s on Faceache with a blue tick, is classed as an “influencer”. Nothing in his Faceache post shows any proof that it’s actually an electric vehicle, not even the photos. I’m surprised to see it on the Guardian. |

I can’t imagine the bread has much structural integrity. It must just turn into a savoury, meaty lump. And I have to say that I want to try it. |

I used to scoff corned beef salad (heavy on the tomatoes) as my go-to mild hangover cure at work. Worked for me.
Keen readers will remember that I don't suffer from hangovers much.

There's a Police Scotland quote confirming it was an electric car, Elon. I’ll see how this “plays out” as more facts arrive. Just cognisant of how much anti-EV FUD is currently being spread. The fossil fuel lobbies have deep pockets. |
