carblog… took it back to have the error codes read and cleared. Gearbox software checked and seems ok. It is now booked in for a specialist gearbox co to have a deep dive into the problem next week. Hopefully the warranty company has deep pockets.
starfield! Starborn are becoming a nuisance always popping up and complicating things. Not sure if best to keep lugging the Armillary around on the ship or build an outpost somewhere for it. There are whole blocks of this game I’ve not dabbled in yet and outposts is one of them. I’ve been recruited by the space cops to go undercover against Crimson Fleet so hopefully lots of stealthy missions ahead, which should suit my character build.

I woke up at a normal time though I went to bed at an abnormal time - playing Monster Hunter until 2am.
I went for an oat-cake / cracker, for a modest breakfast, but found some tiny ants had got in. I ate some toast instead and read, and worried, about the possibility of being hacked by Insanet ‘Sherlock’ software. Does it exist? A programme that can hack your phone just through you seeing an advert.
I am so unsettled I’m struggling to not add an exclamation mark.

There are a few that can infect phones and PCs through the slightest contact! Mostly it's only security services who use them as the companies fix the exploits as soon as they are discovered so a major virus won't last long once the exploit is known. However there are some pretty devious things out there. Unless you have big access in a major company or in government you are unlikely to be targeted, but it doesn't mean you couldn't be sideswiped. Also there are plenty of malevolent idiots who would release such stuff widely. |

There was always an argument that if you couldn't smuggle a couple of pills or gram of whatever into a club past a search of your pockets / bag then you probably shouldnt be taking drugs.
Sniffer dogs just means folk neck what they have on them before entry. With current pills at over 200mg of mdma that's recipe for folk collapsing and dying on your premises.
