Lunch was three giant baked potatoes smothered in tuna mayonnaise and cheese. You fat bap. I didn't. I had a roll n cheese n pickle. That's what Brian Harvey had before the "incident"

What are the odds on a world war starting soon?
On paper it looks like it could. China and Iran need to pull their fingers out.

I watched the start of The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix last night. After 10 minutes of non-stop exposition delivered in a portentous gravelly monotone, I turned it off. I also couldn't stop thinking about the portrayal of Edgar Allan Poe in South Park, which undercut the atmosphere somewhat.

Random question.
Did it used to take abour four years for a movie to get it "premiere" on BBC/ITV in the 80s 90s?

Was it no good? Ah - I did want to watch that. It's probably fine - I didn't really give it a proper chance. Will be giving it another go.

Now I know why although born in 84 most of the movies I watched were 80s ones and I didnt see Jurassic Park until about 97.

Better times. I’d love to make it the 90s again, through science or magic.

I also couldn't stop thinking about the portrayal of Edgar Allan Poe in South Park, which undercut the atmosphere somewhat. I'm 30 minutes into the first episode, it's still awful. It had better improve soon.

Watching Game of Death II on Sky Max. Not a great watch. Bruce Lee seems to be phoning it in. *

Oh boy. Sooo bad.
The shoehorning of Bruce Lee clips is embarrassing. The dubbing is dreadful. The plot incomprehensible.
The fight sequences however...

People say that Ben Kingsley is a versatile actor, after all, he played Gandhi and Logan in Sexy beast. However, Barry Foster played Van der Valk and Bob Rusk in Frenzy.
Hmmnnn...
