Tatt chat.....not a great lover of tattoos but I do have one. A band of oak leaves and cherry blossom on my upper arm. One of my grandchildren lived with us but died aged 8. The oak leaves represent the strength he had to show with his many health problems and the cherry blossom represents something of great beauty that lasts only a very short while. The only people that see it are nurses when I have my flu jab.

I’m sitting on an underground train. There is a vertical yellow bar to the left of me, connecting the bank of seats to the ceiling(?) of the train. The person to my left - sitting down - has their arm up to hold the bar. A sick powerplay. Their arm is making contact with my arm as a result, and their hand is inches away from my face. What are they playing at?

I got a tattoo after a traumatic life event, lots of grief involved. At the time it felt helpful to have a symbolic externalising of something very hard to get out from inside in words or other ways.
I got another one from a guy in a jungle in Thailand one time when I was drunk, he used a needle on the end of some bamboo and did it by hand. He was wearing a soft toy style hat that was Nemo from finding nemo. Good times.
I dont have any regrets on either.
I do like it when people that got bad tattoo posts come up on twitter, The lara croft one is funny.

I once knew a man who had many tattoos, including spider webs on elbows. Also one of an angry looking bulldog wearing a St George’s singlet and holding a machete dripping with blood.
This man was quite friendly really. He told me he used to belong to the ‘skinhead’ subculture. He said he had so many tattoos he thought it best to get his own tattooing machine and start tattooing himself. You could tell I think. The ones on his left arm were quite well drawn but on his right arm they were all over the place.

I remember seeing someone on the interwebs that would tattoo over nazi/racist tattoos for free if you had a change of heart and weren't a Nazi fuck anymore.
Not sure if there was a test or anything.
One of the PM's friends is a tattoo artist. She has all-sorts, including tattooed nipples. They are hearts apparently.

I had a Burrito from the chain 'BarBurrito' at Edinburgh Airport recently and I have to say it was excellent, its sad, but it was better than the local 'Bonny Burrito' place and the same price, which for an airport means cheaperessentially, the local guys staff always seem half asleep and are basically just shit at putting a burrito together. So youre paying £9 or something for a small soggy burrito that falls apart. They need to up their game, cant shop local if its crap.
