TattChat…. Back in the day I used to do airbrush paintings. Psychedelic mandalas / fractal types of thing. One day I get approached by a very sexy young lady who tells me she has had a tat done and wanted to have it changed, but she wanted to show the studio exactly what she wanted changing, so would I be prepared to overpaint her tat with some variations and take Polaroids, so she could show the studio what she wanted. It was a kitten playing with a butterfly on her left boob, but from a distance, looked remarkably like a prawn.
Cue gongy, with trembling hands, over the course of a couple of evenings, adding airbrushed drop-shadows and tints to a topless blonde’s breast, and going in for a close up with the trusty Polaroid.
Long story short…. She got the tat changed as she wanted, and I’ve often wondered if I made the right choice in becoming a network engineer for a living.

I’ve just been watching some rolling news on the BBC News channel. An earnest slapheed with glasses has just talked about the global community having to choose between good and evil, with Russia, Iran, China and Iran being evil. The presenter just kind of nodded and said he made same very good points.
It’s the kind of thing you might have read about in a 1990s GCSE history class and thought … it was of its time: A strange polarised take on the world.

I notice the red weather warning stops about 20 yards North of Rolling Escargot.. I am hoping this means he can live blog the new Tay River Rail disaster. It's like the Restaurant at the End of the Universe. Sitting in the living room enjoying a nice meal and watching the world end out the window. |

I'm at the Stirling Prize ceremony, but we didn't win anything worth boasting about. But one of my bosses did a fukin' on the nose speech. I love my fukin' job.

Illiterate. * * unless you really do mean unwilling to read, though able to do so. Without literacy. Not just unable to read, but without the concept of literacy.. They are yet to discover code of laws and writing. The written word is over rated, that's why I like the 'box (that and the stone age, it was a simpler time). |
