I wouldnt accept an unresignation, if you have the original resignation just go with that. Especially if its the busiest two weeks, this person would be potentially unrelaxing the workplace. They clearly dont want to be there or not be there. Impossible to work with. Its a shitty situation, but its not your fault. I wasn’t sure this person was entirely convinced about their resignation so I held off processing it. Also … I wasn’t able to fill the post because of a recruitment freeze. In any case I would have had no-one for the two weeks. I wonder what happens if they un-unresign? It wouldn’t surprise me. |

How can you say you'll be going on the sick for a fortnight? You can self cert for 7 days. The Dr says what you'll be off for. Thank fuck I don't manage people. They said the doctor has signed them off for two weeks. I am glad they came in today because they did some stuff they needed to get done. On the other hand I was massively pissed off. I gave them a book on personal organisation as they left. My guess is that they’ll read it in one sitting tonight then come back tomorrow and do two jobs. |

The guy from British Gas had turned the pressure up slightly more than it had been before and I think it's been too much. Fucks sake. |
