Morning.
Up early, can't sleep, damn you no booze Tuesdays.
Back deep into Rise of the Tomb Raider, well the collectibles. This is my second stint of about a week since i first played it over a year ago. I think im getting ready for another sabbatical from it.
I see there's a new one due out in September. So, to the team of Square Enix devs who read this box every day for ideas and intelligent chat in general, then i say this -
A
1.story / missions - fine
2,Collectables - do we need all of relics, caves, murals, crypts, strong boxes, coins etc
2.Tombs - these are great, but not enough of them
Summary - same of 1, less of 2, more of 3
Four stars.

Tv eh. Just put on the latest series of High Maintenance on the commute. Graphic 3some that involved the tablet being moved from view.
Games. Started a second character on The Division as level 12 folk were killing me. Its just to get back into the controls and I'll go back to my main geezer tomorrow. Downloaded the motorbike game from June ps+ before bed.
My boss is back today from a conference. Probably full of ideas and 'best practice'. Smashing.
{Edit} New ways for Crank to make tea etc etc.

I dismally failed to clock any Fallout 4 time last night due to fatigue. Maybe tonight.
I have also given up watching the Allienist too as it's beyond awful.

Watched Westworld last night. Its heckin confusing with all the back and forth through two very similar recent time periods (security dudes coming first time, security dudes coming second time).
Also got in some more Cultist Simulator. I really like it.

I have no idea what he actually wants to do beyond saying the word workflow a lot. |

Crossed the Moonflow last night and on a 'Not Elephant' in Final Fantasy X last night, so now I have Rikku and that's fine.
I'm very tired though.

I got as far as the first mission (helping the guy in the petrol station) before I encountered my first bug, Sunny stuck under a rock, unable to be interacted with. I persevered and got as far as Primm before I had my first crash whilst trying to enter the hotel. Fuck that. I may try downloading the host of mods needed to play bug free, if I get the urge again. It's not looking too likely though. |

They are renaming Salad Cream to Sandwich cream because only 14% of people use it in salads.
So if theu found that a majority used it as lubricant for titty wanks would they change the name to Heinz Titty Wank Cream?
No they wouldnt so lets keep it salad cream.

I played fallout NV on a PS4, it was fine. PC master race my arse.
The only major bug I ever hit was a MASSIVE deathclaw reptedly spawning and jogging on the spot in the middle of sloan whenever I left the building.
The powder gang are very dead, primm is clear and the lottery winner at nipton was... unfortunate. Ed-E seems to be very aggressive on this playthough. Next stop the ratslayer mines and/or a barber.

I played fallout NV on a PS4, it was fine. PC master race my arse. I've always derided compatibility issues with PCs, but refuse to buy the game again. I've already bought it 3 times (along with pretty much every other Fallout/ TES). On the upside, if I start modding it I'll likely wander into the non- essential mods section. Some of the custom guns can be quite entertaining. Just have to be careful when browsing with the better half around as there's a lot of, shall we say, naughty mods. |
