Every Monday morning we have a team call where everyone takes turns talking about what they did at the weekend. It's awful. Today's highlights included someone going to a place called 'London' and telling the rest of us what it's like ("not for the faint hearted!"), and someone else who thinks they might have driven above 20mph in a 20 zone

Today's highlights included someone going to a place called 'London' and telling the rest of us what it's like ("not for the faint hearted!"), and someone else who thinks they might have driven above 20mph in a 20 zone I went to Southampton., saw us play badly and also get mugged by the officials and then spent 4 hours driving home in heavy rain. I spent the rest of the weekend chuntering about it. Four stars Also Southampton must have the worst road system of any major city. On the main approach you come off the M3 straight on to a 30mph dual carriageway which rapidly becomes one lane in each direction. I tried leaving via the dock road to the M27 but that was completely jammed at 3.30 pm. So much so that after spending 20 minutes getting to a roundabout I turned round and came back out on the shitty main road. It's like someone looked at Nottingham and thought we don't need anything so sophisticated. |
