I've just had a email from the funeral directors, asking me to proof-read the order of service, which i would happily have done, had they actually attached it.
There was however a mailchain attached with notes from the fundirectors to the printers, with some of the additional text regarding the location of the post-service drinks and donations, where they refer to PMs late father-in-law as a 'wonderful lady'. oh dear.

lso Southampton must have the worst road system of any major city. On the main approach you come off the M3 straight on to a 30mph dual carriageway which rapidly becomes one lane in each direction. I tried leaving via the dock road to the M27 but that was completely jammed at 3.30 pm. So much so that after spending 20 minutes getting to a roundabout I turned round and came back out on the shitty main road. It's like someone looked at Nottingham and thought we don't need anything so sophisticated. That don’t want you to leave. They will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to their own. Your culture will adapt to service Southampton. Resistance is futile. |

Every Monday morning we have a team call where everyone takes turns talking about what they did at the weekend. It's awful. Today's highlights included someone going to a place called 'London' and telling the rest of us what it's like ("not for the faint hearted!"), and someone else who thinks they might have driven above 20mph in a 20 zone I went to Southampton., saw us play badly and also get mugged by the officials and then spent 4 hours driving home in heavy rain. Leeds has escape roads. The M1 and M62.
Southampton does not.
Admittedly I've never been in to Mordor city centre, just to Elland Road, but the traffic is not great.

I'm sure being a salesperson is a hard gig. Especially if you're relying on commission.
But, when I ask 2 times; once via web chat, once with sales person if we can pay for a product via CC and you say yes... I then waste time waiting on you to call.
Person 3 goes through the motions, takes loads of into, then says "nah mate, it's got to be Direct Debit or BACS". You think I'm going to go cool, cool, no problem.

Just had a guy in wanting some fries. He looked a bit on the edge already, so I told him we didn't take card, just direct debit or BACS. He had a full on meltdown and ran out screaming, much to my amusement.

I should have known better. TalkTalk business broadband. They're about to get telt. Sky business are now available in the same location. Vodafone and BT both wanted silly money. We've already wasted 4 months with Virgin fucking about as well. Hence my utter rage slash upset. |

Good Morning Autumn Fans!
Last day off work. Made the most of it. A nice lie in, then a trip to Morro's to replenish the larder. This afternoon I have made cottage pie for the fam blood for tea, sweet food for p's innit bro. To be served with carrots, tender stem brocolli, cheat aunt Bessies Yorkies and gravy made using Bisto gravy granules. A proper autumn tea.
OTTM, after being bombarded with adverts for it, I really want to try a limited edition McDonald's Philly Cheese Stack. I'm sure it will look exactly like the pictures.
