Not me guv. I'm in a similar situation to lazyb. The person I manage basically does fuck all. I'll be spending much of tomorrow doing work she's supposed to be doing. If I ask her to do it I'll just have to listen to her complain about how it's the wrong thing to be doing, how everything was better when she worked somewhere else, and how she's both simultaneously too busy and has nothing to do. Quicker to just do it myself My preferred pronoun is he/him/his. |

Currys customer service is awful. Despite there being at least 5 staff and no more than 2 customers in store, only one buying anything (me), it took them about 5 minutes to serve me. I remember years ago I had a laptop that I had bought from them, I had paid £1800+ for it, £1200 for the HP plus the windows office package. I had been getting intermittent issues with the Vista OS (yes that one) for a few months and issues with online security despite paying out more money for a separate Norton security pack, after six months it was so bad I could barely get online at all. I took it back to them as it was within warranty and it took about a month before I got it back, eight and a half to nine months in the 'new' battery from purchase started to play up and I called them about it, another trip to Curry's ended with them telling me three weeks later that it wasn't their problem and I should call HP so after another week of phone calls they agreed to send a new battery to me. This worked then the laptop died six weeks later, still within the extended warranty I took it back to Curry's - and they 'fixed' it good. They deleted the partition drive along with some OS files and twenty of my files that were supposed to have been saved by them. I struggled on for another three months back and forth with them until it came down to Curry's: "not our fault try HP" HP: "not our fault try Curry's" I felt like a ping pong ball, by then the warranty had run out and neither side was budging so I was ultimately left with a £2000 paperweight. This was when they were the Curry's/PC world combo. A real nightmare company and useless in all thing tech except for selling it. |
